How to Burn Fat without Running

You don’t need fancy gym equipment – like a treadmill or elliptical – to get your cardio up to burn fat. These fat-burning body-weight exercises will get you in your target fat-burning zone by performing these interval exercises at high intensity, so you’ll increase your heart rate and sculpt your body, all at the same time.

1. Jumping Lunge

Start from a lunge position and explode up and forward, landing in a lunge. Switching legs between lunges.
Repeat this for 30 to 60 seconds without breaks.

2. Squat and Jump

Start from the squat position (here’s how to do a perfect squat!), then explode yourself up and land gently on your toes. Repeat this for 30 to 60 seconds without breaks.

3. Crossover Jumping Jacks

Start with your arms crossed in front go your chest, right arm over your left, and stand with your right leg crossed over your left. Keep your knees bent as you jump up and extend your legs out to shoulder-width, while stretching your arms outward. Jump up again, crossing your arms in front of your chest,  this time, left arm over right and cross your legs, left leg over the right.
Repeat this for 30 to 60 seconds without breaks.
