I am trying to expand my smoothie recipes. My go to smoothie is PB2 with Blueberries & Banana. In my forced effort to try new things – my sister told me about her latest concoction which includes cranberries. Now I know cranberries are full of anti-oxidants – great! Orange juice full of vitamin C, banana loaded with potassium and the protein powder…OK I’m in! Do you have a favorite smoothie? Send us your recipe and we are happy to feature your creation here!
Cranberry Orange Smoothie
Servings: 1 large or 2 small smoothies
Prep Time: 5 minutes
• 6 ounce Vanilla greek yogurt
• 1/2 cup frozencranberries
• 1/4 cup orange juice
• 1 medium banana frozen
• protein powder – I use vanilla flavor
1. In a blender combine yogurt, cranberries, orange juice, banana and protein powder Blend for 1-2 minutes, scraping down the sides halfway if needed.
**Note – If it is too thick, I add ice cold water!
