7 Ways to Curb Your Appetite

Do you act on a pang you think is hunger and prepare yourself a snack? Are you really hungry? If you are on a mission to lose weight, here are a few tips to help you curb your appetite until lunch or dinner, or even breakfast tomorrow morning.

Eat Regularly
Eating only two meals a day is the wrong way to go. Eat smaller meals throughout the day and you will knock out your cravings and persistent hunger pangs.

Eat Breakfast
When you wake up think of waking your metabolism up as well. Skipping this important meal could lead to eating way more calories during the day. You want to stoke the fire if you will and keep it burning all day long.

Be Honest
Are you eating when you aren’t really hungry, out of boredom or stress? Take an honest look at your behavior and make changes that will help you hit your goals, not undermine them.

It’s Time for Tea
Post lunch snacky feeling? Make a cup of tea. This will keep you feeling full until dinner. Use a natural sweetener if you are craving something sweet. This is could be a calorie free treat.

Lace Up
Exercising reduces hunger. Put on those tennies, get on that bike or hit the yoga room. Whatever movement you like to do, do it. Being decreases your appetite!

Protein Please
Eating protein at every meal is a definite thing to do. Doing so will keep you full of energy. Also, eating protein while having an active lifestyle helps to build muscle, which weighs less than fat – so eat up that lean protein!

Water. Period.
Too many people confuse hunger with dehydration. Keep your water bottle full all day long helps eliminate snacking. Wake up and have a large glass of water, and keep them coming all day long. You will notice a difference in your skin as well!
