Protein shakes are as versatile as ever with the ever-growing number of flavors and brands. Sometimes, it can seem overwhelming which tub to buy. To be honest with you, I used to try all the different flavors until one day I felt like I just couldn’t handle the choice anymore and now just stick to vanilla. It’s good on it’s own but can also be used to create a huge variety of shakes and smoothies that double mint mocha chip or winter berry cookie blast just couldn’t do.
I love finding new ways to bulk up and intensity my shakes and this recipe nails it! I love PB & J (peanut butter and jelly) sandwiches. It reminds me of my youth whilst also just being plain delicious. However, two slices of bread, peanut butter, and sugary jam or jelly isn’t exactly on my meal plan any more.
