About EatFitFuel

Real fitness guidance, no nonsense.

EatFitFuel publishes science-backed nutrition and workout advice for people who want honest answers, not marketing hype.

Why this site exists

The fitness internet is crowded with conflicting advice, paid endorsements, and content engineered to make readers feel broken. We started EatFitFuel as the opposite of that — articles that respect your time, cite their sources, and don’t try to sell you a supplement at the end.

The original EatFitFuel ran from 2015 to 2024 and published over 2,500 articles across fitness, nutrition, and wellness. We relaunched in 2026 with a simpler thesis: a smaller library of thoroughly researched, regularly updated guides beats a sprawling archive that nobody trusts. We’ve kept the most useful legacy articles, redirected the rest, and are slowly rebuilding the catalog with depth rather than breadth.

What makes us different

No sponsored contentWe don’t accept payment from supplement brands, equipment makers, or anyone else to feature their products. Every recommendation is based on what the evidence supports.
No affiliate linksWe don’t earn commissions on Amazon or anywhere else. If we mention a product, it’s because we think it’s worth mentioning.
No diet-culture shamingWe don’t shame bodies, glorify restriction, or treat exercise as punishment for eating. Fitness should make your life better, not make you feel worse.
Sources you can verifyClaims link to peer-reviewed research, NIH, Mayo Clinic, the American College of Sports Medicine, or the National Strength and Conditioning Association — not random Instagram posts.
Honest about what’s unclearWhen the research is mixed or thin, we say so. We don’t pretend there’s a “one true answer” when there isn’t.

How we work

This is a small operation, not a content farm. Articles are drafted, fact-checked against primary sources, and reviewed before publishing. We update the library on a rolling basis — when new research changes the answer to a question, we revise the article and note the change. When we find an error, we fix it.

If you spot a claim that doesn’t match the evidence, a citation that doesn’t lead where it should, or an article that’s gone stale — tell us. That feedback is how this site stays trustworthy.

A note on the relaunch

If you arrived from a link to an old EatFitFuel article that doesn’t exist anymore, you’ve probably been redirected. We’ve kept the URLs that earned their traffic and let go of thin or outdated posts. If a redirect lands somewhere unhelpful, please let us know — we’d rather fix it than leave you stuck.
