Amazing Breakfast Smoothies!

The hot tip to making a good, well great smoothie is to freeze your fruit. No one wants a watered down smoothie! I buy summer fruit in bulk and freeze it for future breakfast yumminess! For bananas, I slice them into chunks that will work better for my blender and put them on a piece of wax paper and then in a rectangular ziploc box.

Another hot tip for smoothies, for me at least, is to add a protein powder and a serving of healthy fats. Healthy fats could be avocado, which adds creaminess too. You could all coconut oil, or even MCT oil.  I also use ice cold water to my smoothies. Instead of an almond milk or soy milk, which gives creaminess and an added flavor, I use the ice cold water. This allows for more of the fruit flavor to come through – and depending on your protein powder choice, you can get that great flavor too!

There are a few more great tips in the video! Hope they help you!
