Healthy French Toast!

Just because you are eating clean and hitting the gym six days a week doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the finer things in life. There is always a work-around to a traditionally sinful meal. I pride myself on devising healthy versions of otherwise off-limit foods. Today, I found this yummy version of french toast that is packed with protein and flavor. This recipe uses almond butter, but you can use whatever nut butter you like, you can also eliminate it all together. If you choose to do that, I suggest mixing up two more egg whites with one whole egg for more protein with a bit of fat. Hope you like this!
