Recipe of the Day: Campfire Cones

A new take on traditional smores. How fun are these babies? You really can add fillings of your choice…peanut butter, jam, caramel, other treats that you love. I am not huge fan of graham crackers, making these treats that much more yummy! These can be made by actually having a campfire or even over you grill. A great idea for a stay-cation! Enjoy.

CAMPFIRE CONES

Ingredients
waffle-cones or sugar cones
banana
mini marshmallows
chocolate chips (i prefer the mini ones)
aluminum foil

Directions
Fill the cones with sliced banana, marshmallows and choc chips.
Wrap the whole cone in foil and pop over hot coals (or bbq grill) for 5-10mins, turning occasionally
Unwrap foil and make sure everything is melted and gooey and eat it up!
