Fresh mint and cucumber adds the right pizazz to your basic glass of water. Want something a little more fruity? Through in strawberries and blueberries for that extra berry-licious touch. These natural fruits in no way add the amount of extra calories that sodas do.

4. Sports Drink to the Rescue

It’s summer and that means outdoor fun: swimming, hiking and just plain long days of being active. Elevated temperatures and lots of sweat will deplete the body of important fluids quickly. In situations like these it is recommended to consume a sports drink to replenish electrolytes lost when really working up that summertime sweat. Be mindful of sugar and calories. There are
some solid sports drinks out there, but you are gonna have to do a little research to find the best one for you.

5. Water, Water, Water

We are all so busy, it’s a wonder any of us get anything done. How are we supposed to remember all of our daily tasks let alone our water intake…track it, that’s how! Write down time increments or set your phone to peep at specific hours in the day. All of those water containers you have lying around the house, fill them and label them with times they are to be consumed. Labeling is a super way to keep you on schedule with your hydration.
