When I started on my project of gaining more muscle and target my lower body, bulgarian split squats were the most difficult move for me. I literally could barely walk for 4 days after the routine. It’s taken almost 8 weeks, and I can proudly say, that on my most recent and brutal leg day, which involved the bulgarian split squats, I was a tiny bit sore the next AM, that’s it! Woo hoo! My strength training has been paying off. Little, well big advances like this keep me coming back for more. Let me know what you think about this routine. Add weights if you want to make it more challenging! Have fun!
