It is so important to have a strong core. Your core is your foundation – the stronger it is – the safer you are from injury allowing you to be the best strongest you at all times. A strong mid section directly relates to back injuries too – so don’t neglect your core. This workout is great because it adds in a bit of cardio too!
Jumping Jacks and Plank Jacks get you started. Strong legs and strong shoulders are needed for these movements, yep you are still getting your core! Remember, you can always modify if the jumping is too much for you. Down Dog with Knee Tuck you know any sort of yoga move is all slow movements that force you to squeeze your core. When you are moving in and out of Down Dog, really use your abs to pull your hips up and back and then out again with the knee tuck. I love the adding of the Runners Lunge, I mean who doesn’t need to open their hips right?
Another new combo move on this one: Burpee Walk with Rainbow Plank. Again, slow movements here really targeting Quads, Obliques and Core. Love it! You are going to have a series of 12 movements with the rest of the video – I always love learning new moves and new combos! Have Fun!
