Plyometrics is probably the most effective way to lean and tone your legs. The explosive moves in plyo movements is what requires your muscles to fire in an intense fashion. Increasing the frequency that you include plyometric moves into your workout the sooner you will see you legs start to lean and tone!
Here are the moves:
Try for 3 sets of 10-12 reps of each of these leg exercises.
1) Lateral Lunge Off of a Box – This exercise works the inner thighs.
2) Frog Hops with Medicine Ball – Works butt and legs at the same time.
3) Kettlebell Swing Jumpback – Works arms and legs
4) Explosive Med Ball Jumps – Works inner and outer thighs as well as glutes
